Responsibilities
Job Description:
The Cloud Administration Specialist will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of cloud-based applications. Ensuring compliance with DOD security directives and supporting a team of full stack and cloud developers by maintaining application health and troubleshooting technical issues. Responsible for documenting configurations, SOP's and polices in accordance with stakeholder requirements, management and monitoring of all user accounts and permissions for multiple cloud environments. Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment.
This position is on-site at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, EC2, and API Gateway).
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD Pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Superior troubleshooting skills, and Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance.
- Strong proficiency in maintaining cloud agnostic and cross domain applications.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified.
- Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role.
Desired Skills:
- 3 Years experience in a DOD environment
- AWS SysOps Administrator Certification desired
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Security Clearance:
- An active TS/SCI security clearance is REQUIRED
