ABOUT US
Iron Eagle Industrial Services specializes in industrial services, focusing on industrial cleaning, emergency spill response, and waste management. We are expanding our operations and seeking a RECRUITER & HR SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our team! This is a full-time, hybrid role that will be based out of our brand new office located in Isanti, MN! We expect at least 3 days/wk in-office to allow for cross-functional collaboration with ongoing recruiting efforts.
OVERVIEW
The Recruiter & HR Support Specialist will be a dynamic professional primarily focused on Recruitment while providing essential Talent Acquisition support to the Human Resources Department. This role combines strategic recruiting efforts with administrative HR functions to support the organization's workforce development and staffing needs. This role will start out heavily focused on Recruiting efforts across all business lines and multiple company locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro area. You will also assist the HR Manager with various pre-employment and onboarding functions. This role is deal for someone who wants to do more Recruiting than HR. This is a non-commission based Recruiting role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruiting
- Conduct Full-Cycle Recruiting efforts across all business lines for the entire organization (which includes 3 locations currently, and helping to expand into additional locations throughout 2025).
- Support recruitment and HR Team in the sourcing and vetting of potential candidates
- Post job openings utilizing internal ATS system
- Utilize various job boards and networking sites to attract top talent in the market (LinkedIn, Social Media, College/Alumni Sites, Job Fairs/Events, etc) and develop relationships with passive candidates as well
- Conduct initial applicant screenings to verify candidate qualifications & job requirements
- Schedule and conduct discovery Phone Interviews
- Facilitate communication between candidates and management teams to schedule IN PERSON Interviews
- Support recruitment and HR Team in the sourcing and vetting of potential candidates
- Adhere to monthly recruiting metrics (approximately 4-6 hires/month)
HR Team Support
- Assist HR Manager with Pre-Employment Compliance Items
- Assist with new employee onboarding processes
- Prepare and process employment documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files
- Support general HR administrative tasks
- Help coordinate employee communications
- Assist with basic employee relations activities
- Update and maintain HRIS and ATS systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 2 years Recruiting and/or HR experience required
- Full Cycle Recruiting experience highly desired
- Proficiency in ATS and HRIS systems highly desired (we use Applicant Pro for our ATS System, and EmployeeNavigator for HRIS functions)
- Must have basic understanding of digital recruiting platforms - including social media and other resources
