What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Manager position at IRON Creative?
IRON is looking for a smart, enthusiastic Account Manager who’s got what it takes to make our clients fall in love with us daily. No big deal.
We work with world-renowned fashion and B2B tech brands like Levi’s, Adidas, Salesforce, and Slack. You’ll help lead the charge across digital campaigns, social posts, eBooks, web videos, convention graphics, and more. These accounts move fast and produce a high volume of work. That means quickly understanding client needs, solving problems proactively, and moving projects forward—without losing sight of the details.
To apply, please send your resume, cover letter, any supporting materials, and your salary range expectations to jobs@ironcreative.com.
About the Role
This is a hybrid role, blending project ownership with client relationship management. You’ll be the main point of contact for your accounts, helping shape project needs and shepherding them through every step of the process. That includes gathering inputs, coordinating with creatives, reviewing deliverables, and managing timelines—all while building trust with clients and making sure we deliver excellent work.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the Account Director across assigned accounts with a solution-first, can-do mindset
- Lead day-to-day client communication: intake, clarifying goals, gathering feedback, managing approvals
- Keep projects running smoothly—monitoring timelines, wrangling inputs, and keeping all parties informed
- Ensure client feedback is clear, constructive, and on-brand
- Review creative work with a sharp eye and help uphold quality
- Track project progress and escalate issues early when needed
- Ensure team hours are accurately tracked and support billing tasks
- Grow your understanding of agency pricing and how to manage the financial side of accounts
The Ideal Candidate
This is a growth-oriented role suited to someone early in their account management career but ready to take more ownership and responsibility. You might be a couple years into an agency role and looking for the next step—or someone with adjacent experience who thrives in fast-paced, client-facing work.
We’re looking for someone who’s great with people, thrives in fast-moving environments, and brings strong critical thinking and initiative.
- 3 years of experience in an agency or similar client-facing environment
- Proven success juggling multiple projects and personalities with composure and care
- Clear and persuasive communication, especially in writing
- Exceptionally organized and attentive to detail
- Energized by solving problems and keeping work moving
- Curious about emerging tools and AI-driven workflows—even if you're still learning
- West Coast hours required; fully remote position
