**Job Overview** We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including assisting with patient care, performing administrative duties, and supporting medical procedures. If you are committed to providing outstanding care and have a passion for the medical field, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role. **Responsibilities** - Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including vital signs, blood draws, and injections - Conduct basic life support measures, such as CPR and first aid - Perform ECGs and other diagnostic tests as needed - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records - Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient communications - Prepare patients for exams and procedures - Clean and maintain patient care areas, including the OR - Utilize medical terminology and coding to accurately document patient information - Support X-ray and other imaging procedures - Collaborate with internal medicine and other medical professionals to ensure quality patient care - Provide inpatient care and support - Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations **Requirements** - High school diploma or equivalent required - Completion of a medical assisting program or equivalent training - Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred - Basic life support certification - Experience working in a clinic or healthcare setting - Familiarity with medical terminology and coding - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for extended periods, lifting, and bending If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have the skills and experience to excel in this role, we encourage you to apply.
