What are the responsibilities and job description for the Waitstaff/Barista position at Iron Cafe?
We're looking for full-time (& long-term) waitstaff and baristas to join our fast-paced Cafe family!!
All applicants must be passionate about providing excellent foods & drinks, but most of all extraordinary service.
Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Table Service
- Taking orders over the phone & at the counter
- Preparing coffees/smoothies/lattes
- Washing dishes, wrapping silverware & restocking
- Daily opening & closing duties
- Preparing sides/simple orders
Qualifications;
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork is a must
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Punctuality & Flexibility with schedule
- Ability to take verbal direction
- Think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Weekends and Holidays are a must as we operate 7 days a week (breakfast & lunch only)
Past experience is a plus, but not required.
Compensation is hourly plus tips.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.20 - $24.83 per hour

- Guest services: 1 year (Preferred)
