Responsibilities

- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Maintain organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant is preferred.
