As a Lead Service Technician, you’ll work alongside and guide a crew of skilled Service Technicians on in-shop and on-site mechanical and industrial contracting projects locally and across the US. Focusing on maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across diverse field operations, our Service Technician Teams focus on customer satisfaction at every turn.

Duties:
- Oversees daily shop and on-site operations, assigning tasks based on technician skill levels to meet deadlines while maintaining positive relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Directs and participates in project design and fabrication by interpreting blueprints and manufacturer specifications, effectively communicating build and installation strategies to the team.
- Conducts inspections on welds and installations to ensure strict adherence to ASME Section IX standards, manufacturer specs and company quality benchmarks.
- Coordinates onsite project strategies, including equipment requirements, scheduling, and logistics.
- Reviews and approves technician records—including work orders, time/material data, and inventory—to ensure precise client billing and project documentation.
- Enforces all safety protocols (PPE and LOTO)
Experience
- Prior experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in industrial or mechanical environments
- Welding experience in multiple disciplines is critical in this role
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising or mentoring others
- Strong proficiency in electrical systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues quickly and effectively
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while maintaining safety and quality standards

While travel is frequently local or day-travel, being able to travel overnight for multiple days at a time is required in this role. Overnight travel is estimated at roughly 10%; however, this can vary!
