What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Coaches - Soccer / Basketball / Wrestling / Baseball position at IRON ACADEMY?
First and foremost, our coaches must be born again believers with a heart for discipleship through athletics. In everything we do, we seek to glorify God.
Iron Academy is an all-boys, private Christian school in Raleigh, serving grades 6 - 12.
Duties: Help build interest in the program; teach new athletes and develop necessary skills; design productive practices and provide group and individual training; attend all practices and competitions; foster relationships with other schools/coaches; follow academic standards set by the school; work closely with faculty, other coaches, and the Athletic Director; continuously strive to build the young men into Godly gentlemen.
We have coaching positions open for Varsity boys soccer, MS and JV boys basketball, wrestling, and baseball. Candidates must have previous coaching experience, preferably at the MS or HS level.
Coaching positions are part-time; primarily afternoons, with the possibility of some evenings, depending on game schedules. Compensation is via stipend for the season. Candidates are subjected to a background/DMV check.
