Fitness Trainer
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Seeking candidates who are passionate about fitness and working with clients to achieve goals.
A qualified candidate is one who thrives in a group setting, is able to encourage members to reach their fitness goals, and one who can provide a one-of-a-kind experience for members.
Coaches must be able to perform all job duties as outlined below. Any incomplete or dishonest answers may disqualify candidates from the training process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Adopt company philosophy and goals
- Complete trainings prior to start date
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Able to lift at most 50 lbs and 100 lbs with assistance of another employee
- Be an ambassador for and practitioner of fitness and fitness clubs.
- CPR Certified
- Currently Certified or involved in subscription to be certified.
SUGGESTED EXPERIENCE:
- 12 months experience working in/around fitness clubs, classes, and coaching.
- Current/recent experience participating in group fitness, 1-on-1 coaching, weightlifting, programming, nutrition services, and/or athletics.
JOB DUTIES:
- Coach must start and end classes on time
- Provide designated cardio, strength, and core stretching
- Instruct members on correct and effective technique and demonstrate exercises
- Prepare equipment and programming
- Provide new members with tutorials and explanation.
- Provide positive and upbeat experiences.
- Keep management informed of member and facility needs
- Ensure safety standards are met
- Attend all required meetings as directed by General Manager

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Personal Training or Fitness Instructor: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Certified Personal Trainer Certification (Preferred)
- AED / CPR Certification (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Erie, PA 16505: Relocate before starting work (Required)
