What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist ITT - Part Time position at IRMC?
In this role you will be:

Evaluate and assess pediatric patients to identify developmental delays, sensory integration issues, fine motor difficulties, and other functional limitations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions to improve children’s participation in daily activities (ADLs), including feeding, dressing, grooming, handwriting, and play.

Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and healthcare providers to create supportive environments at home, school, and in the community.

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Educate families on exercises and strategies for at-home reinforcement of therapy goals.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.

Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuing education to stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: BS in occupational therapy, MS preferred
- EXPERIENCE: Previous pediatric experience required
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
- Licensure as an occupational therapist in Pennsylvania
- Valid PA driver’s license with good record and access to a vehicle
