Position: HR Manager
Location: Bradenton, FL (On-Site)
Reports To: Director of Administration
Position Overview: The HR Manager is a key leader responsible for managing and scaling human resources functions for a rapidly growing manufacturing company. This role supports a dynamic workforce by building strong HR processes, ensuring compliance, and fostering an engaged, high-performance culture. The HR Manager partners closely with plant leadership and management to align people strategies with business growth, operational needs, and long-term organizational objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and scale full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, and leadership roles to support rapid organizational growth.
- Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies, including employer branding, sourcing pipelines, and partnerships with external recruiters, schools, and workforce agencies.
- Partner with leadership to forecast workforce needs aligned with production demand, expansion plans, and long-term growth.
- Continuously improve recruiting processes, metrics, and candidate experience to reduce time-to-fill and improve quality of hire.
- Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated, productive, and aligned with company culture.
- Build, standardize, and maintain scalable HR policies, procedures, and workflows to support a growing organization.
- Ensure consistent application of corporate HR processes across departments, shifts, and roles.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes to increase efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, EEOC).
- Advise leaders on disciplinary actions, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Assist with performance review cycles, merit increases, and incentive programs.
- Support training and development initiatives including safety training, leadership development, and skills enhancement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience supporting hourly manufacturing workforces in a fast-paced environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization.
- Experience supporting multi-shift or multi-site manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with safety-focused and compliance-driven environments.
