What are the responsibilities and job description for the 724 NDE Engineer - Houston, TX Full-time position at IRISNDT Inc?
Duties:
- Research, design, develop, or test automation, intelligent systems, smart devices, or industrial systems control. Mostly to be used in advanced nondestructive testing solutions.
- Create mechanical design documents for parts, assemblies, or finished products.
- Design advanced precision ultrasonic equipment for accurate or controlled applications. Such design to be used for accurate capture of inspection data.
- Design engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks.
- Implement or test design solutions used in the wind and oil and gas industry.
- Maintain technical project files.
- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as robotics, drones, automated and semi-automated scanners, design and machine parts and gimbals.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports.
- Please note, travel to client sites will be required 50% of the time within Harris county.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science degree in mechatronics engineering or foreign equivalent
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant experience
