Description

Provides technical expertise in the application, installation, and optimization of industrial gas systems across multiple industries including food & beverage, breweries, manufacturing, chemicals, and energy. Partners closely with sales and operations teams to evaluate customer processes, troubleshoot system issues, and develop gas application solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and reliability. Focuses on technical problem solving, system design, and real-world applications of industrial gases, helping customers maximize performance from their gas systems. Previous experience working with CO2 beverage systems, nitrogen applications, breweries, or cryogenic gas supply systems is particularly valuable in this role. Works in the field, solving technical problems, and helping customers optimize their systems. A typical week may involve visiting customer facilities, troubleshooting gas supply issues, evaluating system performance, recommending equipment upgrades, and collaborating with internal teams to design safe and efficient gas supply solutions.


  • Evaluate customer processes to identify opportunities for new and improved industrial gas applications and system performance.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and diagnostic support for customer gas systems and related equipment.
  • Support Account Managers during customer visits by providing technical expertise and application guidance.
  • Design and recommend industrial gas supply systems including proper sizing of storage tanks, vaporizers, pressure builders, regulators, piping systems, and flow capacity requirements based on customer demand.
  • Identify opportunities for new industrial gas applications in manufacturing, food processing, beverage production, breweries, and other industries.
  • Assist with startup, commissioning, and optimization of installed gas systems.
  • Provide field support to resolve customer system issues and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers and internal teams on system improvements and process solutions.
  • Monitor industry developments and emerging technologies related to gas applications and process efficiency.
  • Assist with internal training for sales and operations teams on industrial gas applications and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial gas systems and related equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and technical tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent firsthand experience working with industrial gas systems, cryogenic equipment, brewery systems, or beverage gas systems.
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  •       a) Industrial gas systems (CO2, nitrogen, oxygen, argon)
  •       b) Cryogenic tanks, vaporizers, regulators, and bulk gas systems
  •       c) Brewery gas systems and beverage carbonation
  •       d) Food and beverage processing environments
  •       e) Welding and fabrication gas applications
  •       f) Industrial manufacturing environments
  •       g) Cryogenic or compressed gas distribution systems
  •       h) Industrial refrigeration or glycol systems
  •       i) Field service, system startup, or technical troubleshooting

Salary : $85,000 - $105,000
