About the role

The Client Partner owns revenue, growth and relationship health for a portfolio of strategic accounts across Manufacturing & Logistics, Hi-Tech and CPG. You act as the senior point of accountability for each client, from the C-suite down to delivery teams.

The mandate is twofold: win new logos in these verticals, and grow existing accounts into multi-million-dollar, multi-service relationships. That means shaping digital transformation programs in application development, cloud, data & analytics, AI and automation, and quality engineering, then making sure Iris delivers on them.

Key responsibilities

Account growth and P&L

• Own the P&L, revenue targets and margin for assigned ManLog, Hi-Tech and CPG accounts.
• Build and run annual account plans with whitespace analysis, target buyers and pipeline goals.
• Expand wallet share by cross-selling Iris services: app modernization, cloud, data & AI, automation and quality engineering.
• Lead proactive proposals, renewals and SOW negotiations through to signature.

New logo acquisition

• Identify, target and win new clients across ManLog, Hi-Tech and CPG.
• Build a named-account hunting list and run multi-touch campaigns with marketing and inside sales.
• Lead pursuits end to end: qualification, discovery, solution shaping, orals, pricing and close.
• Land with focused initial engagements and convert them into strategic, multi-year relationships.

Client relationships

• Be the trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CDOs and business heads such as supply chain, operations and commercial leaders.
• Map and broaden relationships across business units, procurement and IT.
• Run quarterly business reviews and executive steering meetings.

Solutioning and industry insight

• Bring industry point of view: smart factory, IIoT, supply chain visibility, warehouse and transportation systems, e-commerce, DTC, revenue growth management, product engineering.
• Partner with practice heads, solution architects and alliance teams (hyperscalers, ERP, data platforms) to shape winning solutions.
• Identify AI and GenAI use cases that tie to measurable client outcomes.

Required qualifications

• 12 years of total experience in IT services, including at least 8 years as a Client Partner.
• Proven new logo acquisition in Manufacturing & Logistics, Hi-Tech or CPG, with multiple enterprise logos won and scaled.
• Proven record of growing dormant accounts.
• Experience selling and governing digital services: application development and modernization, cloud, data & analytics, AI/ML, automation, QA.
• Strong C-suite presence, negotiation and commercial structuring skills (T&M, fixed price, managed services).
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or business.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Edison, NJ area.

Preferred qualifications and domain depth

Deep experience in at least one of the three verticals, and working knowledge of the other two.

• MBA or equivalent.
• Existing relationships with Fortune 1000 manufacturers, logistics providers, tech firms or CPG brands in the Northeast US.
• Track record of selling AI, GenAI or data platform programs.
