Traveling Superintendent
Based In: Chicago, IL
We’re seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects across the Midwest. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with Walmart open-store remodels or large-scale retail and distribution center builds, along with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead all on-site construction operations and project schedules
- Manage subcontractors, safety compliance, and quality control
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers
- Conduct site inspections and maintain detailed reports
- Ensure OSHA standards and safety practices are followed daily
What You’ll Need:
- 5 years of supervisory experience with a GC or CM firm
- Proven success managing Walmart remodel or similar retail projects
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Procore experience a plus)
- OSHA 30 certification and valid driver’s license required
- Willingness to travel frequently
