Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to clients in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient observations, and changes in condition
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients
- Follow prescribed care plans, including dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or assisted living protocols
- Document care activities accurately and report any concerns or changes to supervising healthcare professionals
- Support clients with social activities and community engagement to promote mental well-being
Qualifications
- Prior experience in home health, long-term care, assisted living, or group home settings preferred
- Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs, medication administration, and HIPAA
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required (e.g., resident transfers using Hoyer lifts
- Strong Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans
- Valid driver’s license is a plus for travel
