The Scheduler/Project Controls Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules and cost controls for large-scale data center construction projects. This role ensures accurate planning, reporting, and risk management to support timely delivery of mission-critical facilities featuring advanced cooling and power systems. The position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in scheduling tools, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Job requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience scheduling and project controls for large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel; experience with Procore preferred.
- Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) and earned value management (EVM).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rotational schedule environment.
- Pre-employment screening, including background check and substance testing may be required according to company policies.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; other PPE will be supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the work site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Create look-ahead schedules and update progress against milestones.
- Analyze schedule impacts and recommend recovery plans for delays.
- Track and report project costs, forecasts, and variances.
- Support earned value analysis and performance metrics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
- Interface with construction managers, commissioning teams, and subcontractors.
- Ensure alignment between schedule, procurement, and resource plans.
- Participate in risk reviews and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of schedule changes and approvals.
- Ensure adherence to company standards and client reporting requirements.
