Responsibilities
- Conduct commercial & industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout data centers and the facilities.
- Routinely assist in changing Data Center filters.
- Assist with unboxing & racking miners as required
- Assist trades personnel in performing maintenance activities as required
- Perform custodial duties, including emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for manual handling/lifting, handling cleaning chemicals, and operating cleaning equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with colleagues and visitors.
Desired Skills include:
- Proven experience in commercial/industrial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina & strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy objects as required.
Other Important Requirements:
- A clear Criminal Record Check is required.
- Must provide own steel-toed work boots; all other PPE supplied.
- Must be able to reliably commute to the operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work.
