IREN is seeking a Construction Director - USA to lead the safe, on-time, on-budget delivery of a mission-critical cloud computing center and associated infrastructure. This role is IRENs owner representative and GC for construction, accountable for construction governance and standards, field execution strategy, contractor/partner performance, safety, quality, schedule delivery, cost and change control, risk & compliance, commissioning readiness, and operational turnover.

- 12 years of progressive construction leadership delivering large-scale commercial/industrial projects; significant mission-critical data center and/or critical infrastructure delivery experience.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site construction teams (construction managers, project engineers, superintendents) and managing multiple contractors/workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong commercial fluency in mixed EPCM/design-build/T&M delivery models and interface management across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
- Proven capability building and running governance for schedule, cost, change control, risk, compliance, EHS, QA/QC, and document control.
- Experience developing contracting strategies, supporting negotiations, and managing commercial performance (including claims avoidance and dispute resolution support).
- Working knowledge of applicable construction standards/codes, including MV/HV distribution concepts common to mission-critical facilities.
- Executive-ready communication skills, including structured reporting, decision memos, and stakeholder alignment across internal and external groups.
- Ability to work on-site as required and travel to support project delivery needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience); advanced certifications such as CCM, PMP, or equivalent strongly preferred.

- Deep experience leading commissioning delivery for mission-critical systems, including integrated systems testing and turnover to operations.
- Experience developing portfolio strategies/standards/methodologies and scaling repeatable high performance delivery models across multiple sites.

- Own end-to-end project execution and delivery across safety, quality, schedule, cost, and scope compliance for major data center projects across all IREN development sites
- Define and lead delivery strategy and governance, including contracting approach, delivery model (EPCM/design-build/CM-at-risk), standards, KPIs, operating rhythms, and scalable playbooks.
- Drive capital discipline and schedule certainty, overseeing budgets, forecasting, cost-to-complete, change/contingency governance, and integrated master scheduling with clear executive visibility.
- Lead contractor, supplier, and field execution performance, removing constraints, resolving cross-functional and cross-trade issues, and maintaining accountability across all delivery partners.
- Oversee risk, compliance, and external interfaces, including regulatory engagement, audit readiness, and active management of risk, EHS, quality, and claims to mitigation and closure.
- Champion EHS, quality, and documentation excellence, ensuring adherence to codes and standards, robust QA/QC practices, and a strong safety-first culture.
- Ensure commissioning readiness and operational turnover, ensuring appropriate processes and procedures for integrated systems testing, punch closure, and delivery of complete, high-quality turnover packages to Operations. Ensure systems are built to specification and ready for testing and commissioning.
- Develop construction capability and capacity, for optimum delivery speed, maximizing execution effectiveness and agility with succession planning to meet delivery schedules and growth commitments.
- Lead cross-functional alignment and executive communication, providing decision-quality reporting and ensuring coordination across Engineering, Procurement, Controls, Commissioning, and Operations.
- Partner with PM function on schedule, cost, and scope alignment. Provide real-time site insights, risks, and mitigation strategies. Collaborate with design, procurement, and operations teams.
- Build and develop high-performing teams, establishing clear accountability, driving performance management through KPIs, and embedding continuous improvement and lessons learned. Share lessons learned to continuously improve delivery models to develop a consistent multi-site execution standardized approach across all locations with documented best practices and key takeaways.

Compensation
- The expected base salary for this role starts at $225,000 USD.
- Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
- Total Compensation package may be inclusive of annual incentive bonus, equity (long-term incentive), project allowances
