Overview
Ireland Animal Clinic, a small AAHA accredited veterinary practice, is seeking an empathetic, service-oriented and dependable CSR to join our small staff of 9. If you enjoy working with pets and people and are someone who likes to make your own decisions while implementing change, this customer service role is for you. Veterinary experience is helpful but not required on our team. We are most interested in a person with a positive, "can-do" attitude and a desire to work in all aspects of a veterinary clinic.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and assist them with appointment scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes.
- Escort clients into patient rooms
- Prepare bank deposits
- Answer phones
- Prepare and call in prescriptions
- Follow up calls to clients post-op and sick pets
- Enter charges into computer software
- Schedule patients in computer
- Reminder calls/text
- Assist clients with questions via phone, email and text
- Fear Free Training
- Cross training for some veterinary assistant tasks
