The Elementary School Interventionist is responsible for providing targeted academic support to students who are not yet meeting grade-level expectations. This role focuses on identifying learning gaps, delivering evidence-based interventions, and monitoring student progress to help close academic gaps and support student growth. The interventionist works closely with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure interventions are aligned with grade-level standards and individual student needs. Support may be provided to individuals or small groups, primarily in reading and/or mathematics, depending on school needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Deliver targeted, small-group or individual academic interventions based on student data

Use screening, diagnostic, and progress-monitoring data to inform instruction and adjust interventions

Collaborate with classroom teachers to support instructional goals and reinforce classroom learning
