Shift: M, Thurs, Fri, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Our candidate is given autonomy and becomes the patient's number one resource and advocate while performing CT procedures and assisting radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical skill. Speaking of technical skills, the candidate is responsible for the following:
- CT scanning procedures and related quality control monitoring as assigned.
- Performs CT scans of various anatomy of the body to produce clinically diagnostic images to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disease and injuries.
- Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Responsible for CT scans of newborn, infant, pediatric, adolescence, adult and geriatric patients.
- Responsible for the availability and sterility of supplies used for assigned area.
- Operates CT equipment, develops films and prepares CT room for procedures.

Requirements
The fine print:
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. CT Registry preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- BLS certification through AHA or American Red Cross required.
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work is fast paced. Visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling required.
- Average physical demands involve moving/transporting patients, lifting accessory equipment and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
