The Central Sterile Supply Technician is responsible for processing and distributing medical/surgical supplies, equipment, instruments and specialty trays for patient care. Regarding health information has access to demographics, billing, and limited clinical data relevant to the encounter. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Regarding health information has access to demographics, billing, and limited clinical data relevant to the encounter. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Hospital experience desirable, CNA preferred (listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing).
- Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
