Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mooresville, NC, for an Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO. The Office Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations to ensure organizational efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities include managing budgets, accounts payable/receivable, coordinating office operations, maintaining records, streamlining organizational processes, meeting planning/logistics, and supporting team projects. The role also involves collaboration with stakeholders, preparing reports, and supporting the CEO as needed to support Iredell EDC’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in office administration, record management, and budgeting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in using office and productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Online Banking, Zoom, Teams, CRM (Podio), etc.
- Familiarity with online banking platforms, monthly banking reconciliations, and financial reports
- Bachelor's degree with focus on Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Management, or related field is preferred or 5 years of equivalent/experience in similar role.
- Experience in the economic development or nonprofit sector is a plus

Someone who anticipates needs, solves problems before they escalate, and maintains confidentiality will thrive in this role.
