What You'll Do
- Assist in reviewing project plans, specs, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and support cost estimating (labor, materials, equipment)
- Gather pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Help prepare proposals and scopes of work
- Enter project data into systems like Dataforma
- Support site visits and pre-construction planning
- Track bids, documents, and deadlines
- Follow up on proposals with guidance from the team
- Build relationships with vendors and internal teams
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Solid math and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and take direction
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Interest in construction, roofing, or estimating
Preferred (not required):
- Degree or coursework in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Internship or hands-on construction experience
- Exposure to Bluebeam, Roof CAD, or similar tools
