General Labor

Iracore International is a wear materials manufacturer for rubber lined and cast urethane products that have been in operation since the 1950’s. Our customers include major facilities in mining, construction, railroad, oil, and gas. We also build items for engineering groups and original equipment manufacturers. We operator four manufacturing facilities that include three shops in Hibbing Minnesota and one operation in Nisku Alberta Canada.

Iracore needs entry level General Labor employees for each of the three operations in Hibbing. General Labors are trained to support the urethane and rubber lining applications including machine operation, grit blasting, buffing, working with chemicals, using hand tools, and operating forklifts and overhead cranes.

The General Labor position is in a safe manufacturing setting with a sound safe culture. The candidate is required to follow our health and safety rules while following instructions to process individual manufactured parts and maintain a clean work area. Specific training is provided for safe use of chemicals used in the workplace, the proper tool use and the operation of forklifts, crane operation and other equipment specific to the position. The position requires good attendance and the capability to work within as industrial setting while following work instruction and directions from supervision. A General Labor can expect to be trained on the process of abrasive grit blasting, buffing rubber and urethane, applying solvent based primers and adhesives, painting, overhead crane operation, and other task to support the shop

The required skills are as follows: Follow instructions from leadership. Operate equipment and hand tools. Operate stationary shop equipment. Operate forklifts and cranes/hoists. Ability to work a schedule including days and afternoons. Demonstrate a record of good attendance.

Candidates must pass a Physical/Drug Test/Background Screen if an offer of employment is made. Hair sample is taken for Drug Screen.

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)

Wage: $19.90 per hour w/ increases after a 60-day probation, 6 months and annually
