The Hand Polisher is responsible for polishing, buffing, and finishing a variety of metal components to meet established quality standards and customer specifications. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Prepare metal surfaces for plating, coating, or other finishing operations.
Inspect parts before, during, and after polishing to identify defects and verify compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality procedures.
Operate polishing equipment safely and in accordance with company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of polishing equipment and workstations.
Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to a supervisor promptly.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.
Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Accurately complete production documentation, if required.
Assist with training new employees when requested.
Work cooperatively with supervisor and other production employees to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

igh school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in metal polishing, manufacturing, metal finishing, jewelry finishing, or a related production environment is preferred but not required.
Ability to learn polishing techniques and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates reliability, dependability, and a positive attitude.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
