Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Master HVACR Technician role located in East Hanover, NJ. The Master HVACR Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial refrigeration systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing technical issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with clients to achieve their refrigeration goals. The role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail while working with a variety of refrigeration systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Master HVACR License in the state of New Jersey
- Working knowledge of ammonia, Freon, and CO2 systems, including applicable safety regulations
- Technical skills in HVACR systems, including installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair
- Experience with industrial refrigeration systems and components, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators
- Ability to Travel to customer locations
- Knowledge of refrigeration controls, instrumentation, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Relevant certifications such as EPA 608 Universal Certification or a valid HVACR license
- Physical capability to perform job-related tasks and adhere to safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial refrigeration is a plus
