We are seeking a highly motivated summer intern to support the optimization of a multicolor yeast display assay designed to enhance and accelerate the selection of cross species antibodies. This person will contribute to refining assay parameters, improving fluorescent signal discrimination, and increasing overall workflow efficiency to enable higher throughput screening of antibody libraries. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in protein engineering, display technologies, and method development within a collaborative research environment.
The IQVIA Santa Fe branch, designs and utilizes world leading antibody libraries to conduct therapeutic antibody discovery and/or affinity maturation campaigns. The ideal candidate is meticulous, enthusiastic, curious, and a strong team player. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $26,500.00 - $66,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.

- This role is 5 days in office in IQVIAs Santa Fe, NM office*
- Support the effort to optimize our multicolor yeast display technology
- Conduct flowcytometry experiments and analyze data
- Assist in experimental design
- Perform systematic troubleshooting
- Maintain yeast cultures
- Perform assigned tasks within the Discovery team
- Keep accurate records within our electronic notebook
- Very strong attention to detail
- Respects timelines and can adhere to strict deadlines
- Collaborative, helpful, willing to learn and be a strong team player
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to follow and understand SOPs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in
- Appropriate verbal and written communication skills to function within a professional work environment.
- Evidence of effective problem – solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in alignment with the desired role placement
- Evidence of strong team work and communication skills.
- Experience working in a laboratory and understand Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) rules
- Experience with basic molecular biology techniques
- Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks
