We are seeking an Associate Manager, Laboratory Operations to join IQVIA Laboratories at Ithaca, NY.

Lead a team of laboratory professionals to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery of services in a regulated environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supervise daily operations of laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate testing
- Hire, train, and manage performance of team members under senior management guidance
- Monitor inventory and manage supply budgets to support uninterrupted lab operations
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all lab activities
- Lead process improvement initiatives and present outcomes to stakeholders
- Support implementation of new tests, equipment, and procedures
- Act as a backup for daily lab operations as needed
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology
- Experience with Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers and UPLC systems
- Proficiency in LC-MS/MS data analysis and Watson LIMS system
- Knowledge of calibration, tuning, and compound optimization techniques
Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations and regulatory compliance (e.g., CAP/CLIA)
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor laboratory staff
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
