What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at iQuasar LLC?
We are looking to fill a Facilities Manager position for our clients in MacDill AFB, FL.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Facilities Manager shall serve as the primary liaison for the Directorate of Operations to the Command Engineer’s office, responsible for the day-to-day management of buildings 5011 and 5014 (Interior and Exterior), ensuring the facility is operating safely and efficiently for the building's occupants and visitors.
- Contractor personnel shall be responsible for conducting preventive maintenance to identify building deficiencies, along with deferred maintenance issues.
- Contractor personnel shall be responsible for facilitating and submitting Workspace Change Requests (WCR) as required.
- Contractor personnel shall be responsible for facilitating/submitting work order requests through the ECO Management System as required
- Coordinate and perform the monthly fire pump test
- Visualize and inspect fire extinguishers monthly and 100% and coordinate annual fire tag inspection by the company that maintains the extinguishers
- Coordinate, schedule, and oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly requirements of the custodial staff
- Escorting uncleared maintenance personnel throughout the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) as required
- Attend Implementation and Management Team (IMPLANT) meetings with the Command Engineer’s office as required.
- Assists with space planning and presents allocation/requirement reports
- Changes all locks and codes for applicable facilities doors
- Prepares reports and briefs leadership about facility issues.
- Installs ceiling tiles, flooring, and lights as required.
- Repairs damaged walls on the spot to maintain facility aesthetics
- Conducts minor repairs as required (door repair and adjustments, broken ceiling tiles, damaged floor tiles, damaged walls, broken toilets and sinks, broken lights, damaged furniture).
- Member of the team responsible for verifying temporary facilities are serviceable and capable of being occupied after a Hurricane or an act of extraordinary circumstance
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ experience in managing a facility in accordance with management regulations and standards.
- 3 years’ experience working with fire, safety, resource protection regulations, risk assessment methods, techniques, and standards.
- 3 years’ experience working with the 6th Air Mobility Wing’s Civil Engineers office.
- 3 years’ experience processing Workspace Change Requests (WCRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through the USSOCOM network.
Clearance:
- Top Secret with SCI eligibility
