The Manager on Duty will be responsible for managing a team of employees, overseeing the budget and financial performance of the hotel, and developing and implementing strategies for growth and success. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs.

The Manager on Duty will be responsible for managing a team of employees, overseeing the budget and financial performance of the hotel, and developing and implementing strategies for growth and success. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and problem-solving skills and be able to adapt to changing business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of employees, including setting performance expectations, providing training and development, and managing employee relations
- Manage reservations and check guests in and out using a computerized system
- Develop and implement strategies for growth and success, including identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes
- Monitor market trends and adapt to changing business needs
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with grace and professionalism
- Perform light cleaning duties, such as wiping down counters and restocking supplies
- Must be able to lead housekeeping department as needed, particularly in absence of Head Housekeeper
- Must have a valid driver license and able to support occasional hotel shuttle needs
- Communicate effectively with other team members and management
- Other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work day and evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; rotational
