What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at IQa Engineering LLC?
IQa Engineering LLC is a full-service engineering and automation firm dedicated to developing, implementing, and supporting advanced factory automation and industrial control systems. We collaborate closely with our clients to design tailored control solutions that optimize manufacturing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
As a CNC programmer you will be part of the automation team, your primary role will be to create Mastercam programs of fully custom parts designed by IQa’s engineering team. As part of the team you will also work with the design group to assist in design for manufacturability as well as troubleshooting and modifications as builds progress. Full automation machines are built, assembled, and debugged in the room next to the CNC shop. As designs progress and are debugged you will also assist in modification and improvements. - Programming 3 axis vertical milling (HAAS)
- Programming turned parts
- Writing programs to modify parts
- Working with the design team to ensure parts are designed efficiently
- Ensuring materials are available
- Run parts on CNCs
- Assist the assembly automation team in interests outside of programming (robotics, assembly, vision, troubleshooting).
- Design fixtures (SolidWorks
- Prefer 2 years’ experience
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to use computer software such as Excel and Word
- Ability to navigate 3D models
- Ability to intermittently lift and carry 50 lbs
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
