Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to service calls, diagnosing plumbing issues accurately and efficiently.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and appliances in commercial and residential settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installation and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively.
- Perform remodeling tasks such as re-routing pipes or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure to meet client needs.
- Conduct inspections on plumbing systems.
- Assist with construction site tasks including heavy lifting, assembly, carpentry work, and remodeling projects as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of service work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for quality assurance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction and service plumbing with a solid understanding of pipe threading, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools in a construction environment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to plumbing and familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique; physically fit for demanding tasks on construction sites.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical data.
- Valid driver’s license for site visits and material transport.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience is a plus.
- Commitment to safety protocols on construction sites; ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
