Job Description
Businesses development:
- Attend and network at financial, legal and estate planning industry events
Trust Operations
- Coordinate investment and distribution activities – interact with families and their trusted advisors to implement investment strategies and manage cash flow
- Assist with new account on-boarding and set-up.
- Coordinate all facets of trust administration -- cash management, tax planning and investment policy implementation.
Practice Improvement - participate in internal & external training programs to understand, and improve upon, the unique elements of our directed trust business.
- Coordinate directions from investment / discretionary distribution advisors.
- Oversee compliance and tax filing procedures
- Coordinate new investment set-up / asset additions
Qualifications
- Entrepreneurial attitude with good communication skills and a “roll-up your sleeves” mentality;
- 5 years’ experience in a financial institution, accounting firm, or management consulting firm;
- Ability to grasp the broad range of trust administration and the operational / compliance requirements of a directed trust company;
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve problems, and make progress under limited direction.
- Client relationship management experience;
- Management experience with direct reports or junior team members a plus;
