The Director, Global Value & Access, Neuroscience, is responsible for developing and executing global market access and pricing strategies that effectively communicate the value of Ipsen’s neuroscience portfolio to health authorities, HTA agencies, and payers.
As a key member of the Global Value & Access organization, the Director partners closely with Ipsen affiliates worldwide to optimize access and pricing outcomes for neuroscience assets. They will design, guide, and deliver global access strategies and evidence based pricing approaches that demonstrate product value and enable timely, sustainable patient access across markets.
The Director collaborates extensively with cross functional teams within the neuroscience franchise, ensuring strategic alignment and driving initiatives that strengthen the value narrative and support successful market access. They are expected to proactively identify challenges and propose innovative, practical solutions that enhance business performance. The Director leads cross functional efforts with influence and autonomy while contributing as a strong team player in a complex, international environment.
Design and lead global access, reimbursement, and pricing strategies, ensuring clear alignment with brand objectives and patient access goals.
Continuously monitor the market landscape to identify emerging trends, policy changes, competitive dynamics, opportunities, and risks in neuroscience; translate these insights into strategic implications for priority assets.
Assess payer archetypes and local stakeholder needs (evidence-driven, budget-oriented, outcomes‑focused, etc.) to optimize long‑term market access outcomes.
Partner with the global pricing team to develop robust and innovative pricing strategies that address local challenges and manage external reference pricing impacts.
Lead the development and global roll‑out of key market access tools, including payer value dossiers, value propositions, cost‑impact models, objection handlers, and other tactical materials.
Serve as the lead Value & Access representative on cross-functional teams (Asset Team, R&D working groups, Commercial, etc.), ensuring that access and pricing considerations are integrated into product strategy throughout the lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with the HEOR team to identify evidence gaps and provide clear recommendations for data generation plans that strengthen the value narrative.
Provide strategic support to affiliate market access teams, enabling effective localization and execution of global access and pricing strategies and tools to achieve optimal reimbursement outcomes.
Apply strong project management capabilities to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery of initiatives, and facilitate best‑practice sharing between global and local teams.
Contribute to business cases by informing key assumptions—such as target patient populations, volume forecasts, reimbursement criteria, competitive impacts, and price erosion scenarios—in partnership with the global pricing team.
Oversee and coordinate work with external consultants as needed, ensuring quality, alignment, and cost‑effectiveness.
Ensure regular, effective communication with leadership and key stakeholders to drive alignment, anticipate risks, and support decision-making on major initiatives and deliverables.

Knowledge & Experience (essential):
- Ideal: both scientific background and business focus
- At least 10 years in the field of Market Access & Pricing
- Experience working on HTA submissions and knowledge of the global HTA landscape
- Proven experience successfully managing multiple project deadlines in a hands-on manner within a fast-paced work environment – in full compliance with laws, regulations and policies
- International experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Fluent English is compulsory
