IPS is a behavioral healthcare company that specializes in outpatient mental health and substance misuse treatment for adults in socioeconomically diverse populations in Dallas, Ellis, and Kaufman Counties. IPS specializes in the provision of outpatient clinical services. Using empirically validated and evidence-based treatment, IPS strives to ensure the highest level of care for our clients. IPS is seeking individuals that are passionate about helping those that struggle with mental illness, substance misuse, homelessness, and forensically involved clientele. We are currently seeking a Psychoeducational Clinician to join our team!

Psychoeducational Clinician (DALLAS LOCATION - HYBRID)

Duties/Responsibilities

The Psycho-educational Clinician’s primary role is to provide therapeutic interventions to patients, including psycho-social rehabilitation, skill building, linkage to community resources, rapport building, and relapse prevention planning. After an initial 90-day period of employment, this position is eligible for hybrid work.


As part of the multidisciplinary team, the psycho-educational clinician will: 


  • Engage with clients in clinic based settings. 

  • Conduct psychoeducational sessions in both group and individual settings. 

  • Participate in treatment team meetings.

  • Utilize effective time management to ensure achievement of weekly goals and expectations.

  • Engage clients in clinic‐based settings (in-person and telehealth) to meet individual and group treatment goals. 

  • Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary team (e.g., therapists, program coordinators, probation/parole officers, medical/psychiatric staff) to improve client outcomes.

  • Participate in treatment‐team meetings 

  • Complete clinical documentation (treatment plans, reviews, progress notes) within designated time frames. 

  • Utilize evidence-based practices and meet performance metrics (weekly goals, time‐management).

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Data Entry, Quality Management Control, and External Communication

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suites

  • Proficient typing skills  

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred but not required

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Experience with group facilitation, therapy or case management.  

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related human services field. 

  • Reliable transportation 


Licenses and Certifications:  LPC-A/LPCC, LAC, LPC; LMSW, LCSW, LCDC- preferred but not required

 

Schedule: Monday- Friday : 8:00a – 5:00p IN PERSON

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.60 - $28.85 per hour (Depending on licensure)

Psychoeducational Clinician (EVENING SHIFT - ELIGIBLE FOR REMOTE WORK AFTER 90 DAYS)

Duties/Responsibilities

The Psycho-educational Clinician’s primary role is to provide therapeutic interventions to patients, including psycho-social rehabilitation, skill building, linkage to community resources, rapport building, and relapse prevention planning. Eligible for remote work after the first 90 days of employment. After an initial 90-day period of employment, this position is eligible for remote work.


As part of the multidisciplinary team, the psycho-educational clinician will: 


  • Engage with clients in clinic based settings. 

  • Conduct psychoeducational sessions in both group and individual settings. 

  • Participate in treatment team meetings.

  • Utilize effective time management to ensure achievement of weekly goals and expectations.

  • Engage clients in clinic‐based settings (in-person and telehealth) to meet individual and group treatment goals.
