Our team is seeking a proactive Licensing Coordinator who can efficiently manage and expedite the process of obtaining and maintaining state manufacturing licenses across multiple U.S. jurisdictions. This role is critical to ensuring our compliance and growth strategy as we enter new markets.
Position OverviewThe Licensing Coordinator will oversee all aspects of licensing applications, renewals, and compliance tracking for state-level manufacturing approvals. The ideal candidate has experience with regulatory agencies, understands the nuances of state licensing procedures, and can coordinate across internal departments and external consultants to ensure timely submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Research state-specific manufacturing licensing requirements across the U.S.
- Prepare, submit, and track license applications and renewals in multiple states.
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, compliance, operations, and finance) to collect required documentation.
- Communicate with state agencies to resolve questions or application deficiencies.
- Maintain a central licensing database with all current statuses, renewal dates, and documentation.
- Develop and implement procedures to streamline and accelerate the licensing process.
- Stay up to date on changes in licensing laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits and compliance reporting as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in licensing, permitting, or regulatory compliance—preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to navigate multiple state agency processes efficiently.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
