The role
Are you a payroll leader who thrives on driving accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement? We're seeking a strategic Payroll Manager- North America to lead payroll operations across multiple locations while enhancing processes, systems, and service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end payroll processing across multiple sites and jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with payroll, tax, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee audits, reporting, and year-end payroll activities.
- Drive payroll system upgrades, integrations, and automation initiatives.
- Partner with HR, Finance, IT, and external vendors to improve payroll operations and data accuracy.
- Establish and monitor payroll KPIs and service levels.
- Analyze payroll data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed payroll team.
- 5 years of progressive payroll leadership experience.
- Experience managing multi-site and/or international payroll operations.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, tax, and compliance requirements.
- Proven success leading payroll system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
- Experience working with payroll and HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
- Advanced Excel and payroll reporting capabilities.
- Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional payroll certification (CPP, FPC, CIPP, IPASS, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience in a shared services or global business services environment is a plus.
Salary : $86,405 - $120,000
