Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Platform Architect
Jacksonville, FL (Need Onsite day 1, Hybrid 3 days from office).

Minimum 10 years of experience Designing Azure landing zones, infrastructure automation (IaC), governing security/compliance, leading cloud migrations, and optimizing costs and performance using the Azure Well-Architected Framework
The Role
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design & Architecture: Design secure, scalable network architectures (Virtual Networks, Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute). Create high-level architectural designs for compute, storage, and database solutions, mapping business requirements to technical Azure solutions.
Governance & Security: Establish governance frameworks, including subscription management, resource organization (Management Groups), and policy enforcement. Implement security protocols, such as Azure AD Premium, NSGs, and data protection mechanisms.
Automation & DevOps: Provide oversight for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines to manage environment lifecycles.
Migration & Optimization: Develop migration strategies for on-premises workloads to Azure, optimizing costs, performance, and reliability (cost governance, rightsizing).
Leadership & Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to define technical direction. Provide mentorship on cloud architecture, DevSecOps practices, and Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) standards.
Disaster Recovery: Design and implement business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solutions
Requirements:
Azure Services: Expert knowledge of Azure compute (VMs, AKS), storage (Blob, SQL), and networking.
Tools: Proficiency in Terraform, Bicep/ARM templates, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and cloud migration frameworks.
- Certifications: Often requires Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
