Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair iPhones, including screen replacements, battery swaps, camera repairs, and other hardware issues for iOS devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair various computer systems running Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Perform soldering on small electronic components when necessary for hardware repairs or component replacements.
- Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, prying tools, tweezers, and multimeters to disassemble and reassemble devices accurately.
- Analyze device schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults and guide repairs effectively.
- Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve operating system errors, malware issues, or connectivity problems on mobile devices and computers.
- Replace or repair damaged computer hardware components including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, SSDs, power supplies, and peripherals.
- Provide excellent technical support to customers both in-store and in-field service scenarios.
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure quality workmanship and personal safety.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and troubleshooting steps taken for each device.
- Assist with retail sales by explaining device features or accessories when needed to enhance customer experience.
Skills
