What You'll Do

As the Program Assistant, you'll be the heart of our daily operations—supporting residents, assisting leadership, and helping create a safe, welcoming, and organized home for the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the daily administrative operations of Ahana House.
  • Maintaining organized resident files and documentation.
  • Assisting with tracking service plans, assessments, incident reports, and other required records.
  • Preparing reports, logs, and program documentation.
  • Coordinating appointments, meetings, and scheduling.
  • Maintaining office and program supply inventories.
  • Assisting with resident activities and engagement opportunities.
  • Providing respectful, professional support to residents with non-clinical needs.
  • Supporting medication documentation and inventory tracking under appropriate supervision.
  • Assisting with Department of Health compliance, audits, and inspections.
  • Documenting incidents and communicating concerns promptly.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional resident support.
  • Providing operational support during emergencies and participating in an on-call rotation as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare, residential services, human services, or an administrative role.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or housing challenges.
  • Familiarity with Department of Health-regulated programs is a plus.
