Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises using CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and physical security checks to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems to identify suspicious behavior or potential threats promptly.
• Manage access control procedures by verifying identities and performing background checks on visitors, contractors, and staff members.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established emergency response procedures, including fire safety protocols, AED operation, CPR, and first aid.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy.
• Assist law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents while maintaining compliance with security regulations.
• Perform conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management to resolve disputes peacefully while ensuring safety for all parties involved.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles or military service demonstrating strong physical security skills and situational awareness.
• Knowledge of surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control systems.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with firearm handling or taser use is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and maintaining physical fitness for patrol duties.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write comprehensive incident reports clearly and professionally.
• Understanding of law enforcement procedures, loss prevention strategies, and compliance with security regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently while prioritizing safety at all times.
