Position Purpose: The Project Manager will support the Senior Project Manager in coordinating and managing projects within the Commercial Operations Group. This role involves project intake, prioritization, scheduling, tracking, and follow-up to ensure successful project completion.

Position Purpose: The Project Manager will support the Senior Project Manager in coordinating and managing projects within the Commercial Operations Group. This role involves project intake, prioritization, scheduling, tracking, and follow-up to ensure successful project completion.
Principle Accountabilities
- Manage a wide range of projects that could include Business Management, Business Process Improvement, Business Systems & Tools, Cost Savings, Distribution/Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Operations, Product Development.
- Develop project plans that align with the defined project strategy, using the level of structure and methodology appropriate for each project’s scope and complexity.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings with the right stakeholders to drive clarity, decisions, ownership, and progress on open items.
- Establish project specific targets and milestones, adjusting plans as needed to meet stakeholder expectations and evolving requirements.
- Provide clear, concise reporting to leadership on project status, risks, and next steps.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
- Perform quality control throughout project development to maintain expected standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and system enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of project management experience, PMP certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software; experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
- Skilled in leading effective project status meetings, driving alignment, and ensuring clarity on decisions and next steps.
- Strong capability to manage multiple projects of varying size, complexity, and strategic importance simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to tailor project management methodology, tools, and structure to the unique needs of each project rather than relying on a single rigid approach.
- Ability to determine which project management tools, templates, and processes will maximize efficiency and effectiveness for each initiative.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate cross functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, shifting priorities, and evolving project requirements.
