JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Creative Director, Copy (ACD, Copy) fosters creative inspiration and leads workstreams across multiple account(s) and brands. In partnership with Art, they oversee creative ideation for new campaigns and innovative tactics through execution and implementation of strategic brand solutions. The ACD collaborates with cross-functional brand team(s) to ensure creative integrity and adherence to client’s marketing strategies, objectives, and budgets. They are responsible for the supervision and career development of supervisors and copy team members, under the direction of the lead Creative Director.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Creative Ideation and Execution
Works collaboratively with Creative and Account partners to develop smart, single-minded ideas that are on strategy. Directs members of staff to ensure proper production of campaign elements. Helps to set vision and strategy for organic creative growth of the creative department and agency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborates and communicates with team members in a productive manner to ensure goals are met and to attain and maintain creative vision outlined for the agency.
Client Management
Develops and maintains strong client relationships through demonstrated creative leadership, ability, and successful output.
Strategic Thinking
Maintains high-level understanding of client's products, marketing objectives, and promotional activities of similar or competitive products to contribute innovative ideas and tactics.
Team Management and Development
Directly supervises Copy teams on brand(s), providing mentorship/guidance to broader creative team as needed. Demonstrates ability to hire and retain highly capable people while fostering inclusive and
positive culture.
Business Management
Maintains timely and detail-oriented approaches to administrative duties, ensuring creative team is billable and fully utilized to increase productivity and efficiency.
New Business
Grows existing brands and participate in new business to generate additional revenue.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

- Partners with Account, Senior Creative Management, and Clients in development/presentation of brand personality, positioning, and creative briefs across multiple brands.
- Introduces fresh approaches and creative strategies to day-to-day projects to inspire internal teams and clients alike.
- Collaborates with production ensuring quality work is completed as designed on time, without error and on budget.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Maintains positive and solutions-oriented approaches with various agency departments including Editorial, Account, Strategy and Project Management.
- Communicates effectively with various departments to ensure alignment in creative vision, deadlines, revisions, and quality control.
- Partners closely with Art partner and team to contribute and execute creative approaches to communicate brand personality and messages for both the overall campaign and

Client Management
- Maintains strong relationship with client partners through demonstrated creative ability and active communication.
- Partners with clients to understand brand, messaging, and creative vision and amplify

Strategic Thinking
- Possesses an in-depth understanding of the assigned account, treatment category, competitive landscape, and target audiences.
- Works with Account and Creative senior management to develop and advocate for overall

Talent Management and Development
- Directly supervises Group Copy Supervisors, Copy Supervisors and/or Copywriters, on brand(s), and provides mentorship/guidance to copy team as needed.
- Responsible for hiring, staffing, career development, and full life-cycle talent management for direct team (eg, delivering feedback, annual reviews, general and performance management).
- Demonstrates leadership, empathy, and professionalism in communications.
Business and Resource Management
- Ensures Art/Copy team members are billable and fully utilized to increase productivity
- Partners with Creative Resourcing to determine scopes, billability, and acquire freelance support
New Business
- Participates in creative pitch concepting and executional efforts to successfully grow new business.
- Evaluates opportunities and participates in the growth efforts of existing brands.

medical/legal/regulatory submissions.

Salary : $135,000 - $180,000
