Junior Editor/Videographer
Job Summary
Weber Shandwick Boston is seeking a talented Junior Editor with strong animation chops to join our growing creative team. As part of the team, you'll have the opportunity to bring big ideas to life, creating high-profile video content for high-profile clients across the health, wellness, and consumer space.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of video editing, animation, and visual storytelling and be chronically online, tapping into the latest social media trends and video styles to bring high quality brand content to life. This candidate should also be a problem-solver, able to think on their feet, and be passionate about everything from editing techniques to music.
Experience working with Premiere and After Effects is required.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Support Creative Directors, Art Directors, Copywriters to execute or translate creative concepts into compelling digital content ( short form / long form videos, GIFs, animations).
- Edit high-quality video content with a heavy focus on delivering for social media audiences.
- Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines and social media best practices.
- Usher projects through the post-production workflow - creative editing, motion graphics, audio mixing and color correction - to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure timelines and content deliveries
Qualifications
- College degree or 0 - 1.5 years working in an agency or related digital video production/post production environment.
- Please provide portfolio or examples of work for review.
- Demonstrated creative eye for composition and visual storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software
- Premiere and After Effect Experience required
- Chronically online with a strong understanding of social platforms and video content formats and trends

Salary range: $50,000 - $58,000
Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
