In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve our HSE Management Systems, lead safety initiatives, conduct observations, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
This role will support multiple distribution centers, with travel up to 70%.

Job Summary
We’re seeking an experienced HSE Specialist to support our Distribution Center operations. In this role, you’ll help maintain and improve our HSE Management Systems, lead safety initiatives, conduct observations, support incident investigations, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
This role will support multiple distribution centers, with travel up to 70%.
Principal Responsibilities
- Implement and improve HSE programs and site-specific procedures
- Deliver training and drive engagement in safety initiatives
- Conduct audits, gap analyses, and develop action plans
- Support investigations of incidents and environmental releases
- Maintain HSE documentation, KPIs, and compliance reporting
- Partner with cross functional teams to strengthen safe work practices
- Review equipment, materials, and process changes for HSE impacts
- Support hazardous materials programs and training
- Technical Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety from a post-secondary institution
- CRSP/CRST, CSP or equivalent is an asset
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in health, safety & environment roles within a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Self-starter with ability to influence and manage change
- Solid computer skills and technical aptitude
