What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseman/Banquet Set Up - PART TIME position at IPD Hospitality?
Availability Required: week and weekend flexibilty, and Holidays
Job Summary:
Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of hotel common areas, pool, and event spaces. Assist with banquet and event setup while providing excellent guest service.
Responsibilities Include:
- Monitor and close the pool; check wristbands and maintain pool safety
- Clean pool area, restrooms, and replenish towels (laundry training provided)
- Clean and maintain hotel common areas (lobby, restrooms, fitness center, elevators, etc.)
- Assist with banquet and event setup and breakdown
- Remove trash, report maintenance needs, and notify Front Desk of emergencies
- Interact professionally with guests and staff at all times
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Stand and move for extended periods
- Follow all hotel policies and State & Local ordinances
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year customer service experience (preferred)
- Lifeguard/CPR certification not required
