Position Description
A Plumbing Design Engineer is a member of our multi-disciplinary design team and will work along-side our engineering leadership. The Engineer will have opportunities to work on various types of renovation and new construction projects for commercial, multi-tenant residential and institutional building types, including health care, technology, utilities & education markets.

Position Description
A Plumbing Design Engineer is a member of our multi-disciplinary design team and will work along-side our engineering leadership. The Engineer will have opportunities to work on various types of renovation and new construction projects for commercial, multi-tenant residential and institutional building types, including health care, technology, utilities & education markets.
Essential Functions
- Drafting of Plumbing construction drawings including details, plans & sections
- Plumbing related calculations
- Design of Plumbing systems
- Selection of Plumbing equipment
- Coordinating with other engineering and architectural trades during design
- Develop construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit
- Participate in developing details, equipment schedules and specifications
- Research and assesses building performance and other regulations
- Contribute to design discussions and carry design concept through to project drawings
- Contribute to sustainable design discussions and implement sustainable strategies
- Coordinate and communicate with other team members.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Aided Drafting
- Minimum 8-years of experience working for a consulting engineering firm
- Ability to work with minimal assistance from senior staff
- PE not required but a plus
- AutoCAD and/or Revit experience required
