To support the firm's continued growth and market presence, IPD Engineering is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead proposal and pursuit efforts, manage marketing content and resources, and support business development initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is responsible for developing high-quality marketing and pursuit materials, maintaining critical marketing systems and databases, and strengthening the firm's visibility and relationships within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry. The Marketing Manager will play a key role in positioning IPD Engineering for new opportunities while ensuring the firm presents a consistent, professional, and compelling brand in the marketplace.
Essential Functions:
- Interact with Team Leaders to pursue projects and build project content.
- Lead and manage the proposal process from opportunity identification through submission.
- Develop, edit, and maintain proposals, qualifications packages, project profiles, and other marketing materials.
- Assist with maintaining & enhancing the company brand
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality control across all pursuit and marketing documents.
- Maintain and organize the proposal content library, project database, and marketing resources.
- Support business development efforts through client, project, and market research.
- Build and maintain relationships with architecture firm marketing teams and industry partners to
increase participation in collaborative pursuits.
- Coordinate engineering marketing initiatives, website updates, digital communications, and brand messaging.
- Help maintain CRM system
- Assist with project interview preparations including presentation development and coordinating
marketing materials for presentations.
- Support industry events, networking opportunities, and client engagement activities.
- Track proposals and pursuit results and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and
success rates.
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in marketing, proposal management, business development
support, or a related role.
- Experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry preferred.
- Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet quick turnaround times and manage
multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM systems, and
website content management platforms preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and support strategic business
objectives.
